Synopsis from Elise Sax
Lovably troublesome Gladie Burger runs into sizzling danger and a fiery love triangle in the second installment of Elise Sax’s hilarious and sexy Matchmaker romance series.

Since joining the family matchmaking business run by her eccentric Grandma Zelda, Gladie is always looking for love. But when an unbearable toothache knocks her out of commission and into the dentist’s chair, she prays only for relief. No such luck. Emerging from an anesthetic haze, Gladie awakes to find that not only is her tooth still throbbing, but her dentist is dead—and the lead suspect in the murder, office receptionist Belinda, just so happens to be Gladie’s first real client. Now it’s up to Gladie to find Belinda a man and keep her from being locked up behind bars.

As if that weren’t enough distraction, two gorgeous men are vying for Gladie’s attention: Spencer, the playboy chief of police, and Holden, Gladie’s secretive, gorgeously muscled neighbor. Still, Gladie’s not complaining about having a helping hand or two when the case leads her to a dangerously bizarre cult. She may have met her match—and if she’s not careful, it could be her last.

It’s a Mystery to Me”
Elise Sax

I write mysteries. I mean, I write romances. Ahem—Let’s see, here. I’m at Barnes & Noble, I’m looking around, and…oh, here it is.—all right, MATCHPOINT is sitting on the romance shelf. So, that must mean I write romance.
Oh, good. I’m glad that’s cleared up.
I love romance, and I love mysteries, and really, I write both with a side of humor. My Matchmaker series is like the chef salad of books. With a heavy dose of bacon. Yum.
I guess that means I’m not genre-specific. I’m hetero-genre’d. I’m diverse.
Or I’m just scatterbrained.
It’s fun to write several plot lines at once. While my main character Gladie is out solving murder mysteries, she’s also worried about love. Actually, that’s kind of sick. How can write plot lines like that? Maybe I need therapy.
Wait a minute. Love is a lot like dessert. You can crave it no matter what shape you’re in. Even full, you can want ice cream (I speak from experience). Even in the middle of a murder mystery, you can still go cross-eyed when faced with the hunka-hunka hunkiness of police chief Spencer Bolton.
At least Gladie does. Poor Gladie. I really screwed her up this time. Her dentist dies in a horrible way, she’s a murder suspect, and her “boyfriend” keeps disappearing. All that, and her credit cards are maxed out.
She might need dessert. Or her just desserts.

Due to the daily spam comments I have been getting lately and to avoid the annoying word verification, Anonymous comments are no more. I do not want bargains on bags, watches, jerseys, boots and other crap. Geez, they could at least spam me with book and movie stuff, I would be somewhat interested LOL! Thank you :D
