Synopsis from Goodreads

Rebels, former Planet Core employees, have banded together in The Underground. They fight against the policies of the corporation that owns the lease on their lives. They will have their freedom or they will die trying.
The rebellion is stirring…
Will Garrison leads the fight against the control of the corporation—he wants his people to have their rights to live and love back. Reunited with his lover, former Planet Core medic Tim Harris, the men disagree on how to take down the corporation.
And the desire for freedom…
Tim’s plan requires that he provide a distraction while Will leads The Underground’s forces in a lightning raid, but who can Will trust when he’s already been betrayed once?
May cost these men everything...
Timing is everything, because if either fails The Underground may be crushed under the weight of Planet Core once and for all.

Never Gonna Say Goodbye is a short story about a man named Will. He is in love with a man named Tim. They sadly have to keep their love a secret. Planet Core, their  former employer, has taken over. Planet Core will execute anyone in a relationship they don't approve of. So they plan to rebel and take down Planet Core once and for all. Tim, though, has his own ideas for Planet Core that he didn't let Will in on and for good reason. Tim is about to destroy the one love he has. But can he possibly be forgiven?

Goodness, I wish Subject could just send me some of her talents. She oozes talent and it shows clearly in this story. It is barely 40 pages and she manages to suck you in and fall in love with her characters so quickly. Will and Tim were great together. The book opens up with quite a steamy scene with Will and Tim. You can tell they love each other and want the freedom to be with each other. Tim loves Will so much, he is willing to risk everything for him and others like him. He wants to protect those he loves no matter the cost.

I really enjoyed the plot of this. I knew Tim had something up his sleeve, but his plan was insane. I just couldn't believe. I do understand after he explained that things at Planet Core are not as simple as they seem. They think there is just the one villain, Malock, but it goes deeper than that. I loved how this played out. It was quite suspenseful for such a short book and I liked that.

If you are looking for a sweet and sexy quick read, you can do no better than this. It has just a bit of everything to get your blood pumping. Since it is a short read, you will want more. But you get a satisfying beginning, middle and end. I highly recommend this read. Subject never disappoints.

  1. Thank you so much for reading and reviewing Never Gonna Say Goodbye! :)

Due to the daily spam comments I have been getting lately and to avoid the annoying word verification, Anonymous comments are no more. I do not want bargains on bags, watches, jerseys, boots and other crap. Geez, they could at least spam me with book and movie stuff, I would be somewhat interested LOL! Thank you :D
