Clark never reveals his to-die-for secret!

Dude’s a vampire!

CUE SCARY MUSIC …our undead gossip guru flies the night skies to spy on Hollywood’s hottest stars—then inks about their bedroom kinks! Imagine our studly, urbane journalist jotting notes as he hovers outside Scarlett Johansson’s bedroom window, or peeks into Tom Cruise’s “bachelor pad.”

Star secrets…?

This vampire BITES!

And what’s sexier than vampires, ladies? Just ask smokin’ hot starlet/tabloid terror TayLo Logan—this Wild Child gets crazy with badboy Clark because his bite makes her blood boil!

Then it’s LIGHTS…CAMERA… ACTION! …But not in a good way: Vampire Boy and Tabloid Train Wreck TayLo unwittingly end up stars of a sizzling sex tape—destined for worldwide display on the notorious vampire fan sex site, FANGBANGING.COM.

Still, the duo’s beyond-the-grave love story simmers away as Clark rips the lid off a murder coverup—then discovers a murderous plot against TayLo!

DANGER!! Can Clark stop a stalker who wants to drain his lover dry? Or wreak revenge on TinselTown billion-heiress Roma Kane for her poisonous plot to paralyze TayLo—and her career? Can he foil a murder cabal so evil it feeds stars’ pets to coyotes?

AND THEN…talk about the plot thickening! Roma’s billionaire granddaddy, mogul Montague Kane, taking a breather from the nymphet “nannies” paid to play his naughty high-chair games, springs a back-stab surprise—buying out Clark’s beloved National Revealer.

Suddenly, “deadline” takes on a whole new meaning

Triggered by vengeful fury, Clark goes “rogue vampire!”

Evil is punished…and the sun shines once more when he creates a Hollywood happy ending that makes everyone (undeads included) a STAR!

Out For Blood!

Out for Blood is an adventurous and crazy tale about a man named Clark (aka Dragomir Craiovescu, but just stick to Clark). Clark is quite the big shot. He is the go-to guy for what's what in Hollywood. He makes a living revealing everyone's secret. Thing is, only a handful know his...he's a vampire. He uses his powers to get the information he needs on all the hottest stars. One in particular he has his sights on is Hollywood train wreck, Taylor Logan. Taylor is a hot mess that does what she wants, when she wants. This is why trouble seems to follow her due to her. Things really get nuts when her rival, Roma, may be involved in a plot to ruin Taylor. On top of all of that, someone seems to be gunning for Clark and his empire. Clark is more than pissed to say the least.

This read was a lot of fun. Clark was an absolute riot of a lead. He was witty, funny, irreverent, and so much fun. He is not your typical vampire and he says so. I loved his jokes, both the good and bad ones. It was always funny when he pointed out the corny ones. I loved learning about his past life. His life has been fun and also very scary. I love when we saw someone appear from his past he thought was long dead. This was interesting because we saw a different side to Clark. We see he can be a really scary.

Taylor was an interesting lead as well. She is a talented, young Hollywood actress who basically lives in rehab (love Clark's explanation of what rehab is really for. It does make me wonder). After a night a nightclub that goes south, Taylor is stalked by some paparazzi photographer. What she doesn't know and what Clark does, is that he was a werewolf. Mostly all paparazzi are werewolves and Taylor just had a run in with one. Clark saves her and she wants to become what he is, but he won't turn her. He knows someone is after her and he wants to find out who. He even happens to be falling for her.

The story is quick and full of a lot of energy. Once you start, you will have a hard time stopping. Even if celebrity gossip isn't your thing, Walker makes it very funny and adds a lot of mystery to the mix. I love that even with the paranormal twist, this story felt quite authentic. I love that it wasn't afraid to get to the nitty gritty. The characters are full of life (so to speak) and I had a blast with them all. I even loved the villains in this book. Roma was absolutely awful. Everyone connected to her was insane specifically her grandpa, Montague. He did crack me up though.

Walker is well known for his journalism skills and it shows. He really knows the ins and outs of Hollywood. But the best part of this book was learning about Clark. The book lets us delve into his past and getting a taste of the kind of person he is. I enjoyed him a lot. This is not your average vampire read and Walker does point that out quite a bit. I love how he debunks a lot of the vampire myths we grew up on. Walker has given us something familiar with the world of Hollywood and yet something unique with his vampire world. It was a great combination.  This book was hilarious and suspenseful. It will get crazy and raunchy, but you will love it. Definitely recommended for someone who wants a different kind of paranormal suspense.

About Mike Walker

During the O.J. Simpson “Trial of the Century,” Walker wrote the headline-making New York Times #1 Best Seller, "Nicole Brown Simpson: Private Diary of a Life Interrupted," with Faye Resnick. Just months later, his book "Private Diary of an OJ Juror," with Michael Knox, rocketed to #5 on the NYT list.

Walker delighted millions during a record-breaking 16-year stint as a regular with shock jock Howard Stern, who calls Walker "the Hemingway of gossip." Stern featured him every Friday on his top-rated show, conducting the famed "Mike Walker Game."

Dubbed "The King of Gossip" by Publisher’s Weekly, Walker’s lectured at such distinguished journalism schools as the University of California at Berkeley and Columbia University. And he scored the prestigious invitation to become a Fellow of Ireland’s legendary Trinity College, Dublin.

"I'm an historian," Walker explains, "and I’d love to teach a course in what drives mankind’s predilection for gossip. How’s ‘Professor of Whisperology’ sound?”

Due to the daily spam comments I have been getting lately and to avoid the annoying word verification, Anonymous comments are no more. I do not want bargains on bags, watches, jerseys, boots and other crap. Geez, they could at least spam me with book and movie stuff, I would be somewhat interested LOL! Thank you :D
