Synopsis from Goodreads

Hel hath no fury like her Raven scorned…

Fallen Valkyrie Legionnaire, Raven Aquilus, has always known she was an outcast to her kind. Stuck in New Orleans as the Protectress of the Nine Gates of Yggdrasil, she lives as close to the edge as her family will allow. One fateful night would change it all – Someone ritualistically slaughtered a guardian in one of her Gates, leaving Raven lying in a pool of blood. Ordered to find the killer before she dies along with her precious guardians, Raven is placed in a race against time, being forced to enlist in the help of a Human FBI paranormal agent. Together they must stop the serial murders before an ancient war reignites – and Raven loses everything, including a new found love, all to a jealous half-breed …

Welcome the XIII Hour™ series. Betrayal, Lust, Love, Murder, Jealousy and Revenge. The faery-tales that your mother never told you about just came true.
From Hel, With Love is a dark fantasy that follows a woman, well goddess, named Raven. Oh how I loved Raven. Remy is a new author for me and boy, what a favorite she has become. Her take on Urban Fantasy is fun and wild and I loved every minute of it.
I am such a huge fan of Raven and her Murder, her fun and interesting group of powerful supernatural. I loved how strong Raven was. She doesn't take crap from anyone. I found her very scary at times, but she also had a sweet side that I found quite adorable. I especially loved her run-in with the spider faery, Esyllt. For someone so powerful and strong to squeal because of a little spider was priceless. I love the connections she has with her Murder and the insanely sexy Duncan. Duncan is a human (well, half breed) that works for a Paranormal Agency. He has been sent to investigate the ritualistic murders that involve the supernatural, who happen to be guardians of Raven's. He and Raven are then forced to work with one another and they realize they have some pretty strong feelings for each other. Oh how I loved Raven and Duncan together. She may be an all-powerful Valkyrie, but Duncan doesn't let that stop him. He stands toe-to-toe with her on every turn.

Remy really knows how to get your attention. Her world building is incredible and her characters are memorable. I really enjoyed the plot. The tragic murders that have been taking place put Duncan and Raven in each others paths. They are very much attracted to each other and they know they must work together. They need to figure out why these supes are dying and why all of them seem to be connected to Raven.

I won't spoil this, but know this is a powerhouse kind of read. Remy added mythology to the everyday world and it was such an incredible experience. The characters all have great personalities, some you will love and some will raise red flags. This book is full of action, laughs, romance, and all sorts of paranormal creatures for you to enjoy. This book is a can't miss. I am so excited for the next book. Remy, you have yourself a new fan.

Due to the daily spam comments I have been getting lately and to avoid the annoying word verification, Anonymous comments are no more. I do not want bargains on bags, watches, jerseys, boots and other crap. Geez, they could at least spam me with book and movie stuff, I would be somewhat interested LOL! Thank you :D
