Synopsis from Galia Ryan

She needed the money, then she needed the sex. Whatever will she do now?

Anna is broke. Really broke. Credit cards maxed out. Store cards, too. She can’t make her repayments and there’s nowhere to turn. Educated, intelligent, and—until recently—upwardly mobile, Anna is forced to make a choice. Sink or swim. And swimming means finding a part-time job to complement her full-time career. One that would pay enough to get her head above water. Except that part-time jobs don’t pay. Usually. Drawn into the sordid world of private escorts, Anna discovers there is little she won’t do for money, lots and lots of money. She even starts to enjoy the sex. Until she meets an unusually seductive client who introduces her to the world of Dominance and submission. Then everything changes.

Guest Post

If I’m ever asked what I do for a living I will often say I write.  Having two published novels, and a third on the way justifies that.  But like a lot of other authors I also have other employment, one that rewards me with a regular salary.  In my case it’s full time.
My role in the tourism industry covers a number of time zones, and having a managerial position means a tight schedule.  Up at six, write for a few hours, then precisely at nine shut down the computer and race through all the other things I have to do before leaving home.  Returning each evening around eight, I’m often capable of little more than pouring a glass of wine!
I love writing.  It allows me to be creative.  To drift off into other people’s lives – my characters tend to take over, and determine their own storylines, and I get to know them that way just as my readers do.  Uncovering layer after layer.   My mainstream employment is the opposite.  Little is unstructured, or left to the imagination, since it would be impossible for my department to function that way.
As we begin a new year, my envy of those with the time and wherewithal to write full time increases.  I dream of throwing myself into a plot or scene without having to keep one eye on the clock, and if I were to be asked how I would like to see myself in a year’s time I would reply, as Emily DelaHunty!  Those who have watched the film, My House In Umbriastarring the wonderful Maggie Smith, or read the book by William Trevor, will understand.  Surely that is what being a writer is all about.  A delightfully eccentric lifestyle in a country property in Italy, surrounded by an eclectic mix of people.  Not to mention the constant gin and tonics.
And not a clock in sight!

About Galia Ryan

Convent educated from the age of four, Galia Ryan was brought up not to question. Perhaps because of this, she has always been fascinated by all things esoteric and ‘outside the square.’ Originally from Sussex, England and now living in New Zealand with her soul-mate husband and grown-up family, Galia tries to find time between her passions for writing and reading for her other love—travel. There is always a growing list of must-see places.

CHOICES, her first novel, and SECRETS, her second will  be joined by DESIRES, the third in the Luxuria Trilogy, early in 2014.  Published by Fanny Press, they are available at online bookstores as well as Amazon, and other major retailers.

CHOICES is also available in audio version.

Due to the daily spam comments I have been getting lately and to avoid the annoying word verification, Anonymous comments are no more. I do not want bargains on bags, watches, jerseys, boots and other crap. Geez, they could at least spam me with book and movie stuff, I would be somewhat interested LOL! Thank you :D
