Top 5 List Favorite Movies of All Time

Hi everyone! It’s Melissa from the Jessie Lane duo, and today I’ve stopped by Offbeat Vagabond today to talk about my Top 5 Favorite Movies of All Time. I’m a big movie fan, so when a book I read gets brought to life on the big silver screen, I’m all for it. Whether it’s good or bad, I almost always go and see them in the theater. So some of my favorite books are also in my favorite movies of all times.

  1. Interview with a Vampire – It was the first vampire book I had read outside of Brian Lumley’s Necroscope series. I loved watching Anne Rice’s creative world unfold with Brad Pitt’s voice narrating me through it.
  2. The Never Ending Story – It was my favorite as a child because whenever my father was home from the military we would curl up on the couch and watch it together. It was one of the things we watched other than Scooby Doo cartoons on Saturday mornings.
  3. Legend – Who doesn’t like Tim Curry? I loved him in Rocky Horror Picture show and loved him in Legend as the Prince of Darkness.
  4. Transformers – I’m such a nerd! I lived off of Saturday morning cartoons with my brothers so when our favorite show was going to be a movie, I nerded out with a lot of other people who are graphic artists like myself. And I can’t wait for the next movie to come out!
  5. The Avengers – This is my go to movie so far. I have watched this numerous times while working the late shift and at home. RDJ is one of my favorite actors.

I have so many more that could be on the list like the Dark Knight series, Star Wars, and the entire Harry Potter collection, but they only let me pick five. So there you have my favorite movies of all time. What are your favorite movies or book to movie conversions?

Before I go I’d like to say a big THANK YOU to Offbeat Vagabond for letting me stop by and chat today. I hope you all will check out Jessie Lane’s latest release, The Frozen Star, from our YA/NA Paranormal Romance & Fantasy series! Happy Reading!

The Frozen Star
Book #2 in the Star series
by Jessie Lane
Release Day: May 29, 2014
Blurb:
The journey continues:
Kay had discovered secrets, lies, shocking truths, and even love in a strange new world hidden from humans. Everything she thought she knew was turned upside down when she found out three things:

- She wasn’t human.
- She has a power she can't control.
- And there was a possibility that she had found a way to cure the cancer that was rapidly killing her with that very same power.

Then, just when she was on the precipice of gaining everything she wanted and saving her own life, tragedy struck. Will she be able to fight her way back to Ryan and save herself in the process?

Kira had lived a terrifying and confusing life of servitude and abuse under Lord Donovan and his son, Cole. It was an existence that had stripped away her emotions, and eventually, her reason to keep fighting. Just when she thought freedom was within reach, Lord Donovan struck again, ruining her plans and almost killing her in the process. When she awoke from her injuries, it was to stunning revelations that would change her life forever. Changes that she was not entirely sure she wanted to embrace.

Persistent individuals such as Prince Kane refuse to let her walk away, though. Will she embrace all of the sudden fortune in her life? Or will she walk away from those who need her most, forsaking their acceptance and love?

About Jessie Lane

Jessie Lane is the writing team of Melissa Pahl and Crystal Leo. The two sister-in-laws share a passionate love of naughty romance, cliff hanging suspense, and out-of-this-world characters that demand your attention, or threaten to slap you around until you do pay attention to them. Because really, it is ALL about the characters. (They're kind of megalomaniacs - but don't tell them that we said that.)

Crystal and Melissa often live half their lives with their heads in the clouds dreaming of alpha military hunks, werewolves and kick ass heroines crazy enough to chase after creatures that they unquestionably should know better than to chase.

Their first YA novel, The Burning Star, was released in May 2012. Big Bad Bite is their second novel, but their first adult paranormal romance. They are now working on their next two novels, Walk On The Striped Side and Secret Maneuvers. With these projects underway, they are looking forward to showing the rest of the world their crazy stories, heroes and heroines that often plague their minds until written, and hope you will join them on their journey!

Due to the daily spam comments I have been getting lately and to avoid the annoying word verification, Anonymous comments are no more. I do not want bargains on bags, watches, jerseys, boots and other crap. Geez, they could at least spam me with book and movie stuff, I would be somewhat interested LOL! Thank you :D
