Synopsis from Goodreads
For P.J. Stone, being a “Seer” who has never seen anything is less than fun. And P.J. isn’t known for her patience.
To make matters worse, she must choose a suitable mate to continue the Seer bloodline. Duty always comes before her heart…at least that’s what her parents taught her. When she finds herself wanting someone who is considered off-limits, P.J. is forced to question everything she believes.
As if navigating her love life isn’t complicated enough, P.J. finally receives a vision—of a threat to her world that only she can perceive. But no one will believe a fledgling Seer’s warnings. With nowhere else to turn, she may decide to trust a stranger with her life, her world, and maybe even her heart.

I have always complained about how
there doesn't seem to be enough New Adult Paranormal Romance reads. I
am always on the hunt for them and luckily this one just dropped in
my lap. I fell In love with this book from the beginning. If you are
a Paranormal Romance fan, this needs to be added to your cart pronto.
You just have no idea. Well, right now anyway. That is what I am here
for, to give you a taste. Sound good? It better because this book is
as good as chocolate.
Our main character P.J. (Paige Joplin)
is a Seer who sadly has not received any visions yet. They are
considered the most important in their world because of their
premonitions. Seers, Guardians, and Gatekeepers are all there to help
protect the Earth. Given how important she and the others are, they
don't really have a choice of who they can be with. Since P.J. is a
Seer she can only be with a Gatekeeper or another Seer to produce
another female (all Seers are females). They can't be with Guardians
since they only produce males which makes it quite forbidden in her
world. Problem is her best friend Bryn is a Guardian and they both
now realize they have very strong feelings for each other. They can't
let anyone know or they will be punished. On top of that, P.J.'s Seer
abilities have arrived late with some terrible news. Something is
coming that no one is prepared for.
I really enjoyed the characters in
this book. P.J. was a good lead in this book. I did want to slap her
a few times in the book. But I felt better that she wanted to slap
herself as well. She was a bit too trusting at times. But I still
liked her. She is a senior in high school and she is clearly just
trying to find her own way. She has a way to go, but I know she will
get there. I loved Jenna. She was quite the wild one, but she was a
great best friend along with Bryn. I loved Bryn in this book. Damn
all these incredibly hot and awesome guys in these books. They are
the reason my expectations are way too freaking high. Same goes for
Khol. He was definitely a favorite for me. You will love this band of
friends. They are out to pretty much save the world from the
apocalypse. I love what Dyllin gives us in this book. It is beyond
epic.
This story flows so well. Dyllin has
given a new kind of fantasy world to swoon over and I was swooning
hard. This starts off as a love story, but becomes something far more
complicated than that. I love the balance between these two stories.
Things definitely get crazy when Khol when enters the picture. He
brings a lot of information in the book. P.J. thought her life was
bad before. Oh goodness, this is huge.
I highly recommend this to New Adult
fans and PNR fans alike. Dyllin has given us something original and
well put together. This is such a great start to this series. I love
the world Dyllin has created. Seers, Guardians, and more. Oh boy,
soooo much more. This is going on my favorites list. You have to read
this, you won't regret it.
